Book Festival 2026!

We had great fun during this year's Book Festival.

Day 1

Book Fest Day 1 has been great fun! We had a wonderful morning with author and illustrator Matt Robertson. He shared some of his books with us and visited each class to deliver an exciting illustration workshop. This afternoon, the older children enjoyed reading books from our school library to the younger children. Throughout the day, the children made their own books inspired by Matt Robertson's 'Do You Love...' picture books.

Book Fest Day 2

We've had another brilliant day in school. Today author and illustrator Julia Groves joined us and we loved looking at her beautiful books and participating in some crafty book making and illustration workshops. Thank you to those of you who joined us at the end of the day for Diss Publishing's visit and the Friends' Tuck Shop.

Book Fest Day 3

Today marked the last day of this year's Book Fest and the last day of this term. This morning, we started off with some toast and book tasting, followed by a visit from Erin from Suffolk Libraries. She shared some exciting newly released books and let the children know about this summer's Reading Quest. This afternoon, we held our annual Book Mastermind Competition. Well done to all our competitors and thank you to those who came to watch and support the children.
