Occold Primary School welcomed Katy Bentall as artist in residence from 25th-26th February 2020. Katy worked on a project entitled 'Locals' and inspired the children to think about the people that they see in their everyday lives but whom they don't actually know. The children created large collages of various 'locals' and displayed them in an exhibition in the village hall. They also made books of their sketches and stories about the people they had created. Their work and photographs of the project have been collated in an exhibition magazine (£2).
