Otters & Foxes spent the day at West Stow

Fox Class are just finishing their topic on the Anglo Saxons and Otter Class are just about to start, so last week, Foxes created an Anglo Saxon museum in their classroom for Otters to come and visit. We then visited West Stow together, to learn more about what life was like for the Anglo Saxons.

We had a brilliant time at West Stow. We got to handle artefacts which helped us to imagine what life must have been like back in the Anglo Saxon times. We then had time exploring the museum which taught us lots about clothes, food, hunting and houses. We enjoyed dressing up with the clothes available! After lunch, we spent time outdoors, looking inside and outside each of the traditional Anglo Saxon huts. We ended the afternoon with a Q&A with an Anglo Saxon historian.
