Artists in Residence

On Tuesday, we were joined by Fiona Gordon, who taught us a variety of sketching and water colour painting techniques. She showed us her amazing animal artwork and answered lots of our questions. 

On Wednesday, we were joined by Dorien Brouwers. She showed us some of her amazing illustrations which have been published in picture books, some of which we have in our school library. Dorien kindly donated a signed copy of her most recent book too! We continued to develop some of the water colour skills Fiona taught us yesterday and created some colourful illustrations which Dorien thought were excellent.
