Otters & Foxes head to parliament!

Children in Otters and Foxes had a once in a lifetime opportunity to visit the Houses of Parliament!
We left school bright and early on the coach. When we arrived in London, the coach dropped us off along the Embankment. We then crossed over the bridge and ate our lunch by the London Eye, overlooking the River Thames. Shortly after this, we walked to Horse Guards Parade and Downing Street, before heading to see Westminster Abbey. We arrived at the Houses of Parliament around 2.30pm where we were fortunate enough to have a guided tour (including the House of Commons and the House of Lords!) and participate in a parliament workshop. We met Baroness Barker who is a member of the House of Lords and we had the chance to ask her lots of questions.
