Fox Class Victorian Week
Children in Year 5 & 6 travelled back in time for the week and experienced what life was like in school during the Victorian times.
This week, the children have participated in immersive, Victorian style lessons. They have used chalk and slate, as well as ink dip pens, and have been mainly focusing their learning around the three Rs. At break times, the children have been completing Drill and in Science enjoyed an Object Handling lesson investigating various animal skulls. They have addressed their teachers as "Ma'am" and "Sir". Any bad behaviour has resulted in the child standing in the corner and wearing the Dunce Hat!
