3 Days of STEM 2026

STEM Day 1

Today was all about Computing and saw the children programming using our brand new Crumbles, creating artistic designs and music on the iPads, discussing the benefits and limitations of AI and learning about staying safe online. 

STEM Day 2

Today's focus was Maths, The children had great fun with a whole school maths competition between the four houses this morning (well done to Reds for winning!) followed by lots of maths activities in the Village Hall this afternoon. Thank you so much to those of you who came, and a special thanks to Rachel for her amazing STEM themed tuck shop and balloon creations, which were such a hit with the children!

STEM Day 3

The final day of our 3 Days of STEM saw the children completing a variety of science investigations exploring floating and sinking, absorbency and air resistance! It provided a lovely opportunity for the children to work alongside friends from all year groups. There was amazing teamwork being shown in all three classes! Well done, Team Occold!
