The school gates open at 8.35am and registration is at 8.45am. The school day ends at 3.15pm.

Each class has a 15-minute break outside during the morning. Rabbit Class enjoy their break time at the park, followed by a healthy snack indoors afterwards. Fresh fruit for Key Stage 1 comes as part of a government initiative and children under 5 years old receive free milk as part of the European School Milk Scheme. Parents can also opt for milk to be continued beyond this by paying an amount direct to the Cool Milk Scheme. Otters & Foxes enjoy their break time on the playground where a healthy snack can be eaten.

Children in Key Stage 1 also have a 15-minute break during the afternoon.

Play at lunchtime takes place over in the village hall field. During the summer months it is important for children to wear a sun hat and apply sun cream. During the winter a pair of named welly-boots and a waterproof coat is essential!

At our school, we do not routinely hold wet play sessions indoors. Instead, we encourage pupils to spend break and lunchtime outside in the fresh air, as long as it is safe to do so. We make every effort to keep outdoor play available, only moving indoors when weather conditions are considered unsafe.
